This is a freelance job I did for a Lutheran church in Mount Prospect, Illinois. I based the logo off the cross found in their sanctuary and like the simple but elegant nature of the form. Blue is a significant color in the Lutheran faith, meaning hope and is often used during Advent when awaiting the birth of Jesus. Together, the cross and the blue background represents the life of Jesus, his birth and death.
