This was a school project where I had to create a new business and then design a complete branding system. I had to develop a business plan, then a logo, full identity and brand.
Sunrise Markets is an organic grocery cooperative that focuses on community by investing its profits in social programs and humanitarian needs. All employees are encouraged to pursue individual interests in the non-profit sector either locally or abroad. One may apply for a professional grant or scholarship if their financial means are limited. Our greatest asset is giving back because our associates feel good about doing it, making work and life more meaningful and our beneficiaries are boosted as well.
For the logo, I went for an organic rendering of a sunrise. The animated nature of the logo emits a sense of friendliness and community. The business card is printed on Kraft paper to give a natural and organic touch. The green color anchors the off-centered sun logo as well as provides for a backdrop for text.
