This was a project that began with researching a movement in the history of graphic design. Using Macromedia Flash, I was then required to design an interactive museum exhibit presenting the gathered information. The design was inspired by the strict grid system as well as the simplicity of black and white. Swiss designed fonts, Helvetica and Frutiger, are used throughout the site.
There are 4 categories of information: history, people, timeline and sources. The History section provides a brief overview of the movement as well as demonstrates the grid system. The People section focuses on 6 designers influential to the movement. The timeline presents a concise version of all the information presented in the other sections as well as adding an extra interactive piece. The Sources section provides a bibliography of where I got the research information.
