I did some field research of other Lutheran churches in the area to see how they organized and displayed their sites. After that, I knew Zion's site needed bold color and a balance between past and present. The maroon, olive and mustard colors were chosen because they are traditional church colors and can be seen throughout Zion's sanctuary. The bold constrast of white text on the red is dramatic and unique.
To reach church and communities at home, I upload the monthly newesletter and photos of current events. In the near future, I am going to post audio downloads of each service and possibly start a blog. Over the course of this year I have been collecting photos and content as things change. I also update the weekly announcement sections.
